Kord Cosmetic Dentistry

I cannot begin to tell how lucky and blessed we have been to find Dr. Kord and her awesome staff! When my son, who was 4 at the time, broke his front tooth and had to have it pulled Dr. Kord and team were there to help my little guy and made him feel as comfy as they could. Two weeks later when he and his sister were chasing each other down the hall, fell, and landed on each other, his other front tooth broke! Needless to say he was not looking forward to going back to the dentist! the doctor tried to make him as calm and as comfy as they could but he was still very upset. They let me go in the back with them and hold his hand and comfort him through the process. Years later after the doctor had placed two beautiful little false front teeth it was finally time to remove the two teeth and the bridge holding them in place. He was so excited! We always thought that because of his early childhood oral traumas that he would dislike going to the dentist. Well he is 9 years old now and looks FORWARD to going to see Dr. Kord and everyone at the office. They refer to him as “Mr. Luke” and he absolutely loves it. My daughter has also been going to see Dr. Kord since she was very young as well! My wife and I were so impressed with the staff and with Dr. Kord’s professionalism and attention to detail we have also become patients of hers and dropped our old dentist like a bad habit! Recently both my wife and I decided to get Invisoline. After about 10 months I finally finished with my last tray! All along the way the doctor guided me through the ups and downs that come along with the process. Extra scans and exams were all done with nothing but care and I have to say that Dr. Kord and staff are perfectionists. They wanted to help me and wife in anyway they could to get us the results we desired!
The front desk manager, Lupe, is a fantastic lady! She is very helpful with setting appointments and talking you through the entire process! She is very knowledgeable and makes you feel like family. Everyone from Lupe up front to the hygienists, to the assistants, to the great doctor herself after nothing more that a God sent for my family and I! Lupe knew this past year was a little rough on me as a first responder and took it upon herself to design and create a little gift basket with some goodies and hand delivered it herself to my department! I was flattered as I have NEVER received something like that… let alone from a dentist office! I was so taken back!
One last story… I had a crown/cap on a molar that had been placed years before seeing Dr. Kord, it fell off and to my dismay… under it was a disgusting black rotting tooth… it was a Saturday or a Sunday and I called Dr Kord on her personal cell number. I sent her pictures and told her it was not painful as it was a root canal! She was out of town doing dental work for underprivileged people on her day off… but told me she would see me first thing Monday before the office even opened. She was there at 7 am and fixed my tooth for me! I can’t say enough positive things about Dr. Kord, Lupe, and the staff! We love them and we consider them family!

Our first experience with Dr. Ehktiar was for a toddlers abscessed tooth. We could tell her love for dentistry and for her patients right away. She explained the procedure in laymens terms and we knew our first born was in great hands. This was in 2016. Since then the entire family has gone to see her for simple checkups, orthodontics and my wifes first cavity! We highly recommend her.

The ladies at mission pediatric dentistry were extremely friendly and helpful. The office is located in a beautiful building that has a wheelchair accessible entrance and is well lit and inviting. The office in the equipment is all state of the art and the entire dentistry operation leverages modern tools and scanning equipment. The entire team was welcoming and it was great experience.

I just finished a series of dental work with Dr. Maryam Ekhtiar and let me just say I've never felt so safe and heard as a patient. Dr. Ekhtiar is a perfectionist and will ensure your teeth look amazing before you get up from her chair. Dr. Ekhtiar and her staff go above and beyond to put you at ease before and during a procedure. She took such care with not only the cosmetic portion of the teeth but also the health. She comes from the conservative mindset of keeping as much of your teeth as possible. This helped me feel at ease knowing her recommendation was the best option for me. I'm so happy I finally found a dentist not only I can trust but love her work!
Also, it's a woman-owned and managed business and I personally love supporting my fellow queens!
