(August 15, 2017, 5:35 pm)The Wedge is a treat. Gorgeous, powerful waves. Combined with some amazing human performances. There's always a few wipeouts that make you gasp. The waves are not for beginners. The shore break can be brutal, and the life guards are quick to keep small children from playing in or near the water. There no boards, of any kind, allowed from May to Oct between the W and P lifeguard towers. Definitely worth a visit. Early spring is absolutely the best time to truly experience this phenomenal spot!
