The food is always amazing. Unfortunately, the music is always terrible, which wouldn't be a big deal if it wasn't so loud. A nice Italian restaurant isn't the place for bad 80s rock.
From my italian husband and I quote "it's like I'm in New York" " best pizza I've had on the west coast!"
First time here after watching Nancy Silverton's story on Netflix.
It was amazing!! The food and drinks were on point, and the service was cordial, and friendly.

My wife and I had Nancy's Chopped Salad, and it was more than enough for us to split. My wife then had the Margherita Pizza and I indulged in the Salmon Steak. The pizza sauce was one of the best my wife has ever tasted and the salmon was just what the doctor ordered.
Well, it's the year of covid, so they were serving outside. In fact, it was actually nice to eat outside. The wait staff did an awesome job. Our waiter did a great job describing various menu items and checked in often. Everyone who helped us was professional and positive.
The only reason for 4 stars, and not 5:
A. No bone marrow! I loved it last time we ate at Mozza, so was looking forward to it.
B. Couldn't sit at the kitchen counter and watch pizzas being made.
To be fair, I realize these shortcomings are pretty much beyond the control of Mozza. In fact, I blame them on a certain CA leader responsible for executing his own personal autocracy in 2019.
Will be back. Maybe Mozza can always offer outdoor seating after things get back to normal.
This is indeed delightful pizza. I believe their secret is in the crust. Highly recommend.
