“Arrived around 11 am the gate was locked so we had to find free street parking. There is a little walk-through entrance and you have a 5 minute walk to the tiki hut on the sand to purchase your kayak or paddle boards. There was another group before us who rented paddle boards, so we weren’t the only people out on the water. For $20 an hour you can easily make it paddling around the lower bay and back. With it being my first time kayaking the ride up was super easy but coming back with two different currents crashing together made me have to work a little harder but overall loved the experience!”

“I have been using their water soluble cbd for my knee. I have some torn meniscus and somehow the stuff gets deep inside and blocks the pain. I have a half a dropper in the morning and evening. “There's a museum inside, so when the firefighters open up the garage door you can go in and look at a bunch of items and pictures showcasing the history of the Newport Beach Fire Department. There is also a fully restored American LaFrance Fire Engine from the early 1900s, which is cool to look at. It's definitely one of the cooler things on the island if you are being a tourist for the day.”

“I cannot recommend Dr. Melikian enough. I live in Alaska and I was trying to connect with a surgeon to do a two level artificial disc replacement. I was impressed by Dr. Melikians education and training, but also very surprised by the wonderful reviews I read from his previous patients. From our first virtual visit I could see why his patients are so satisfied with him- he was calm, he presented options, he always provided enough time to answer my questions, and I never felt pressured to move forward with surgical intervention. Once I decided to move forward with surgery, his assistant Cecilia was a pleasure to work with and always answered my questions and emails promptly.
