(June 3, 2019, 7:03 am)Before and during the time between the two eye surgeries I had a number of questions re my options for the cataract surgeries and the pros and cons re each option for the new lenses. After realizing that our original choice for my distant-vision eye was not working, I gave it a several week trial and the problems didn’t subside so when I shared the results with Dr Tran and the staff members, there was absolutely no problem in their removing that particular lens and substituting a distance lens for that eye. Subsequently after removing the cataract on the other eye and placing a lens for my closeup vision I am thrilled with the ability to read with no glasses and I am thrilled with the light and bright colors and white I now see! Throughout the process I asked many questions which were always taken seriously and answered to my satisfaction! I’ve been very pleased with their patience and willingness to work together for a wonderful result!
(May 2, 2019, 6:39 pm)Had such a great experience at Coastal Vision. Dr.Tran, Dr. Owyang and staff were amazing. I recently had cataract surgery with a Toric lens and love my vision. Thanks again to all the staff and Doctors for such a great experience and wonderful vision.
(August 22, 2018, 6:59 pm)I had severe Cataract with bad Astigmatism in both eyes! I was operated on by Dr. Dan Tran. Dr. Tran is not only a skilled surgeon, he's also an artist who has mastered his craft! Thank you for giving me my vision back! I can see clearly and sharply in both eyes. My only jibe is that the surgical center was changed to a different venue for the 2nd eye. I felt the procedure was different, maybe because the Laser that was used was different! Special thanks also to Edmund, who graciously walked me through the process for the first eye and was kind and attentive. I was surprised to be handed over to another person for my 2nd eye! I would've liked to have stayed with Edmund throughout the process for both eyes! At any rate, I remained in the good hands of Dr. Tran for the surgery; and I'm very grateful again for having my vision even better than it ever was! Thank you Dr. Tran!
(February 17, 2017, 4:54 pm)Caitlin did an amazing job as my patient counselor for LASIK surgery. She was so knowledgeable and assisted me throughout the whole process. I was impressed with her caring attitude balanced with her professionalism. Every question I had, she knew the answer. Because of her , I had the courage to get the surgery. I am very greatful to Caitlin for all the time she spent with me. I would definitely recommend Coastal Vision based on my experience with Caitlin.
