  In my humble opinion, Calafia State Park is one of the most beautiful beaches in Southern California. But don't tell anyone, its kind of a secret! ????

  Such a different, more raw, beach experience. The locals are very friendly and the view is breathtaking! The sea POUNDS the rocky shore here while a pid of spinning dolphins plays offshore in the sunset. Beautiful day!

  Any spot at San Clemente is a good spot, hook ups or no hook ups. My children and grandchildren have such a fun time. Its always clean, could be less dogs though. It seems that all the State Beaches have gone to the dogs!!

  This is one of my new favorite beaches!! If you are willing to do a little walking, you can find areas of the beach that have great waves and where the sand stays shallow for long enough to boogie board!

  My 15-year-old runs on the beach trail from Califia State Park. He's running with his country team at 6 a.m. and loves it. It's a 5 mile trail to North Beach and back. Great views and a nice wide walking trail.
