If you're fortunate enough to get their at the right time, sit outside, it's anamazing, waves crashing under you with a complete view of the ocean! It's right on the pier and very casual. They also have their oyster bar right across from the restaurant but the menu is different, they serve "bar" type food but just as good! It's not cheap but worth every penny!!! ????????????
(January 22, 2019, 8:58 pm)Excellent service from Ginger. Coconut shrimp appetizers and 4 out of 5 of us had fish and chips. The chips were more like potatoes wedges than greasy French fries. Great view today.
(December 12, 2018, 4:00 pm)Great place to take out of town friends. Food is good, like the bucket of clams with their fresh baked bread. The Cannon rum drink is also good. Prices are reasonable for the great view. What a great place to spend a afternoon.
(December 4, 2018, 1:18 pm)After 40+ years living in San Clemente, The Fishermans remains our favorite local restaurant. Their fish is always fresh and tastily prepared. I also like the pasta dishes, served with fish of course.
And the ambiance cannot be beat. Plenty of outdoor seating which is comfy year round as they have plenty of heat lamps for when the air gets chilly. Dining indoors is great also. In or out, the view of the pier and the ocean is unbeatable.
