I started studying Vedic meditation with Vi when I was battling postpartum depression after the birth of my son. The meditation technique she taught me helped me to feel calmer and clearer about the other supportive measures I needed to heal. I then had the blessing of attending one of her rounding retreats and I left feeling more energized and blissful than I have in my entire life. The technique is so powerful and actually enjoyable (I have studied other forms of meditation that I had to slog through). Vi is also an absolute pleasure to be around and learn from. I am so grateful to her guidance and teaching. I never would have survived the covid quarantine without her priceless teaching!
I recently completed a 4-day course to learn the principles about Vedic meditation after a very informative and inspiring intro session with Vi. I was completely unsure of what to expect as well as totally nervous about meditation and what I was getting myself into. If you are interested and have been looking for an achievable way to improve your life, look no further. In just four days I have gained useful knowledge and the ability to confidently maintain a daily meditation practice that I am confident I will be able to sustain. Vi is informative, and knowledgeable and excludes the exact type of zen you hope to achieve one day. While I am new, I am very excited to continue my practice while also taking advantage of the various additional activities and community. Best time spent and best investment in myself.
I was looking for a meditation teacher to help with my practice. I was very fortunate to find Vi. She has a great down to earth way of teaching about meditation that is easy to understand and follow. She takes the time to thoroughly explain things and is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure all your questions are answered. Also hosting group meditations from her home which are always a refreshing experience. When it comes to learning anything from a teacher, you want one that genuinely cares, I have found that to be Vi all the way.
Recently, I attended a four-day Vedic meditation training with Vi Rucks after I had heard about some of the benefits from an acquaintance. Vi has a conversational style of training and conveying information and knowledge. She conducted the training outside and it was just lovely, very comfortable, and she made me feel at ease. Questions were welcomed and towards the end of each information and discussion session, we meditated for 20 minutes.
I have continued to meditate twice daily for 20 minutes. Let me tell you about some of my remarkable benefits of this meditation. Immediately, I noticed lessened pain in my body, better sleep, and an attitude of equanimity. Today I had a medical appointment, and not that I was trying to reduce my blood pressure and heart rate, but they were the lowest ever! I can only think it’s a benefit of meditation.
Of course, I highly recommend Vedic training with Vi Rucks and I look forward to continued meditations with her and meditation retreats.
Many times in my life I had tried to learn to meditate from others with no luck. I actually had given up. A friend recommended Vi to me and the results are incredible. Her method is like nothing I’ve ever experienced before, and I was meditating the first day. She made it easy. The content of her class and the way she teaches really resonates and the 90 minutes just flies by. I would highly recommend Vi To anyone wanting to learn to meditate!
