“You really can’t go wrong with potato tacos and a original margarita on the rocks! A great combination, the tacos were delicious, the soft nicely seasoned potatoes offered a nice contrast to the crispy taco shell, the beans had the perfect texture and seasoning and the rice was moist and tasty , the perfectly balanced margarita was perfect to wash it all down! A simple yet well executed dish! We stayed a week in Sunset Beach and ate at Taco Surf almost every day!”

“Ethernet ports in the rooms! Multiple quick food options in the parking lot. Starbucks, a Japanese grille, Del Tack, and Subway. The rooms seem a little dated inside, but are otherwise fine. I had a nasty brown stain on my bedsheets, the kind you get after washing out blood it seemed. One of the elevators broke while I was there, and once it was working again would make noises similar to a submarine approaching crush depth in a movie. Maybe consider the stairs if you hear those noises. It's only a 4 story hotel. Staff was super friendly, and the morning breakfast area was pretty nice for a Hampton.”
