They are so knowledgable on various tattoo cultures, and the walls of the shop are covered in awesome tribal works from many groups. With that said, If you are wanting a traditional Filipino tribal tattoo look no further! The research for your patterns does take good chunk of time because each symbol and pattern is carefully researched to match your personal story and heritage. Honor your ancestors, decolonize our culture, and be part of the filipino tattoo culture revitalization.
I had Zel as a tattoo artist and she is amazing. She is detail oriented and fast (means less discomfort)! Her lines are some of the cleanest I have seen. Her energy is awesome, happy to have received a tattoo from her. Elle and Zel both free hand designed my tattoo from a chart of patterns designed researched by the tribe. Its a great shop they are a good group and it was an awesome experience. I will for sure be back.
(February 17, 2020, 3:59 pm)Great experience at Spiritual Journey Tattoo. Joseph and Nate worked on my design and I am extremely happy with my new piece. Shop is super cute and they keep everything clean and stay aware of potential cross contamination. Highly recommend!
