Great getaway, generally cordial people and challenging enough for several fitness levels. Street parking in the rear entrance is nice, the lot can be a little sketchy. Be smart, know your limits, check for snakes and bring water.
Great hike for beginners or those just looking for more of a walk!
Peters canyon has the scenic views and hikes that really challenge you. The hill inclines are incredible one trail with multiple routes. The trail takes you from Tustin to Orange. No matter time of the year bring some water. I'm very fortunate to live nearby! You can bike run and some ride horses.
Excellent place to hike and escape the suburbs. Free parking in a few areas. Latrines at one end and Ports Johns at the lower reservoir.
Solid hiking spot with numerous trails of varying levels of difficulty. Very diverse too, there are tree-heavy spots and creeks as well as steep, drier terrain. You can cover everything in a few hours, and it's well worth it.
