HOLY COW. I’m so shook at how delicious their bun bo is. I thought I was a bun bo connoisseur, but apparently I was just a rookie since I just recently discovered this place. I haven’t been to their other locations, but my grandma told me a new store opened in the abc supermarket plaza so I took her to try it out. My grandma was born and raised in Hue so she knows what’s good and what’s not. She gives this place a 10/10. That’s a heavy statement coming from my critical grams.

How do they have 3 locations and I’ve never heard of them?? What a giant rock I’ve been living under.

They specialize in take-out and catering, so it’s perfect for ordering for covid home isolation. You can bring in your own pot from home and they can fill it up with your favorite soups to save on containers. Bringing in a pot for $100 of bun bo is easier than carrying out 13-14 containers. They come with all of your favorite veggies and chili sauce. The bun bo already has a kick itself, but once you add in the chili sauce, it’s sooo much spicier and divine.

My wife has the most refined food palette and she approves of this hole-in-the-wall for all her Viet cravings. Happy wife, happy life, so I only buy her favorite bun bo, chao tom, and tom hoa tien from here. If I get it from anywhere else, I’m in trouble. We’re raising our kids to love Vietnamese food and not just chicken nuggets. Our son genuinely enjoys the bun bo!! You can ask them to make it not spicy for the kiddos. My wife LOVES spicy food, so we just get it with no adjustments and she just adds a bunch of their homemade sate sauce. During her pregnancies, I would get her bun bo week after week. She wouldn’t get sick of it! Call ahead so you don’t have to wait. All the staff members are very helpful and kind.

Whenever my wife craves Vietnamese food, this is my go-to place to grab food. She and her family have a refined palate for authentic Vietnamese food and they’re always happy when I get food from here. If you want to impress anyone that you have good taste in Viet food, this is where you should go. They specialize in take-out and party trays. You should call ahead to put in your order, especially during these crazy coronavirus times. My favorite dishes are the banh canh cua, bun bo, and tom hoa tien. I bought a bunch of things frozen to prepare for quarantine. My wife says everything is really easy to steam and prepare at home. There you go. This is my fam’s secret spot for authentic Vietnamese food. Enjoy!
