I have been staying here for 11 months now, as of 01/23/2016. Group therapy session 3 times a week, including groups that have actively involved therapists, doctors, and alumni or graduates of the program from previous years. Meals are cooked fresh daily by staff, multiple times a day. Consistent attendance at 12-step meetings, local, and in Irvine, Laguna Beach, Los Angeles. Culturally sensitive atmosphere and a program director (CADAC-II) with nearly 30 years of experience in the field of treatment for addiction / alcoholism / codependency. This nicotine-free facility is not just for substance abuse, but for those struggling with addictions in any form (codependency, gambling, sex, nicotine, internet addiction). Transforming Life Center provided me with a safe place to grow free of my addiction to alcohol, marijuana, and computer gaming. One year of inpatient, followed by at least one year of aftercare program, allowed me to build and gain the effective foundation that was necessary for me to cope with being sober, clean, and deal with life on life's terms.
The pricing here is also very, very reasonable, comparing with other rehabs / treatment centers, one year's program is roughly one-two months of regular treatment centers.
