“I love surf city music school! They are accommodating and easy to work with. They have a variety of instructors and instrument knowledge. Deacon is wonderful and very knowledgeable- instructors are relatable to the students. I can’t say enough good things about this music school. Their new location is amazing and modern. Prices are reasonable. The confidence the vocal lessons give my son is priceless!”

“My son and I recently took the First Aid and CPR training course. I was very pleased with the experience and would highly recommend to anyone interested in this training. In the past, I have taken courses offered by the Fire Dept, the Hospital baby saver classes and even Boy Scouts, when my son and I were involved with them. This class and instruction was far better. My instructor was very professional and knowledgeable and encouraged any and all questions. I also appreciated the instructor availability and the genuine interest in working with our schedule. If you are looking for First Aid or CPR instruction, this is the way to go.”

“I went to this pre-school when I was a kid (let's just say it was less than 150 years ago...) and I turned out just fine :) The teachers were always so caring and they even remembered me seven years later (good remembrances, I hope...). I remember always having a lot of fun and making my very first friends here too. Overall, I feel this school set me up to be confident and excited for school, and it put me on a great track for future success.”

“After weeks of trying to figure out where to send my child, we finally settled on LMA. We gave up a spot at Troy Tech, Beckman and Fairmont. As difficult as the decision was, we couldn't be happier. Perfect class size, amazing building, caring staff and several college courses included. The classes are engaging, rely on student led projects and learning that requires understanding of concepts as they relate to the world around them. First day of in person learning went beautifully. Air filters for each classroom, shields around each desk, temp checks, staff stayed with the students all day, outdoor hand washing stations and sanitizers everywhere, and they gave the kids masks and lanyards to hold them. My child is excited for the next four years! Will update this review over the next few years.”

“Absolutely AMAZING staff and instructors who help you understand every single complex detail. And if you don’t know anything you can ask them any burning questions which is so much more engaging than leaving an online merit badge digital class unsatisfied with questions remaining.”

“I just recently got back from the Joshua Tree 4-day Rounding Retreat with Vi, and it was fantastic! I've been practicing Vedic meditation (which I also learned from Vi) for a little over a year now. It's been treating me well, but this retreat really pushed my practice to the next level. It was great to get away, be around like minded individuals from all walks of life, enjoy great food, and just meditate. Definitely planning to make it a yearly habit.”

“The boy participated in the summer sailing camp organized by this school. The staff are friendly and professional; the facilities are great. For parents waiting here, there is also a terrace with a good view, which is wonderful. I like it here, continue to participate in a week of camping, I will recommend it to my friends, and participate in it next year LOL”

“This school is a great school. The students are friendly and aren't so hell bent on sticking to cliques the same way other schools are. The events are fun especially if you join and participate in clubs. Minus a star for a few of the teachers. Most of the teachers are great but a few don't care about their students and are very careless with their student's work. They don't put in points as soon as things are graded, one even loses her student's work. Plus, the librarian is very mean. I don't know what happened to her to make her so mean but she needs to be nicer to her students.”

“Heather Patrick is an amazing teacher. She is very patient, kind, and knows how to get the best out of her students. My son is only 8 and plays better than I ever did as a child. I am thrilled with the progress my son has made with her.”

“We're excited to share our wonderful experience with Redwood Little School. It's more than just daycare; it's a caring, enriching place where our 20-month-old daughter is thriving while learning Russian (also speaking English and Spanish at home). The curriculum is amazing—filled with music, dance, art, and reading. Seeing our daughter so happy and engaged every day warms our hearts. What makes Redwood Little special is their whole-child approach. They prioritize outdoor play and physical activities, promoting not just physical health, but a love for nature too. There's a fantastic park nearby, with a new playground and a toddler pool. They also take food seriously. No processed foods and they're super careful about allergies. As parents of a child with allergies, this means the world to us. The staff deserves a standing ovation. They're not just knowledgeable; they're kind and nurturing. It's clear they love what they do and adore the children. In short, Redwood Little School gives us peace of mind. Knowing our daughter is in such a nurturing and stimulating environment is priceless. We feel lucky to have found them and would recommend them to any parent looking for the best for their child.”
