We ate inside but they still had the patio set up (too cold to eat outside). The indoors was so cozy it’ll be gorgeous when snow is piled all around. We had a glass of wine on the patio as we waited for our table since we were early for our reservation
The menu was unique (different offerings than other high end north Tahoe restaurants)
Our party had the Sole, Veal, and Rack of Lamb. All delicious!
Looking forward to trying again when it’s snowy and checking out the patio next summer!
Ordered the Wiener Schnitzel, French onion soup and the Grand Marnier Souffle! The soup was fabulous with just the perfect amount of cheese and onions. The weinerschnitzel was good. Alittle thin but tastey! Mashed potatoes seasoned just right. Red cabbage was also to my taste. Order for souffle got put in late but I'm sure it will be delicious! Overall food was delicious and once I was seated the service was great. I highly recommend eating at Swiss lakewood in Homewood! PS... drinks were great and they let you stay past closing!
Wonderful meal. Had the market price fish, which was sea bass with a mango sauce on top. Walt Pinot was superb, and the Grand Marnier souffle is a must. Restaurant has a beautiful patio with an outdoor and indoor bar. Beware though; if you make patio reservations and weather turns sour you are stuck with the patio. We ate inside just in case.
What a nice surprise this was. This place has both indoor and outdoor seating, though the outdoor seat3may not be obvious. That's part of the charm however if you do end up eating outside. It's a nice, open space enclosured by foliage.
Food was good, and the service was on point. Check the menu and you should be pleased by the restaurant's interpretation of the dish. They do seem to have a time limit on the tile, but it wasn't an issue for me.
Really good food. I had the weiner schnitzel, and it was fabulous and the wait staff was very nice and helpful. We sat at the bar while waiting for our reservation (we were early). The bar tendered was friendly and guided us to a good reasonably priced bottle of wine. I will be eating and/or drinking there again.
