New Leaf Acupuncture, Dawn Trowbridge, LAC, MTCM

I have been a patient of Dawn's since 2006. After moving to Reno I tried numerous other acupuncturists but none compared to the treatment I receive from Dawn. Dawn's amazing ability to pinpoint trouble spots, diagnose ailments and cure pain is more than miraculous. She takes time that other acupuncturists don't take. Dawn has treated me for sleeplessness, stress, back pain, tendonitis and general well being. My husband was suffering from a torn rotator cuff and her treatments healed him. Again, I have tried multiple acupuncturists and have never found another practitioner that comes close to equaling the experience and care I receive from Dawn.

I have been a client of Dawn's for years, and she has helped me through numerous physical and psychological dilemmas. The combination of cupping, acupuncture, and herbs has helped me on a myriad of occasions. There is nothing better than a night's sleep after a treatment. When everything is balanced, it is the most marvelous feeling of well-being and joy.

As Dawn left on sabbatical, Pamela stepped in and seamlessly took up the torch. I have thoroughly enjoyed her treatments, and she has given me relief and rejuvenation during the last several months.

A competent acupuncturist is difficult to find, and we are lucky to have such a marvelous clinic in our tiny town. If you have yet to try New Leaf, you owe it to yourself. Even if you think your health is "fine", go in for a tune up, and it will change your definition of "fine".

A recent back injury left my lower back and hips in so much pain it was to the point where I couldn't turn over in bed. After seeking help from several avenues I was told to give accupuncture a try so I looked up New Leaf. While skeptical of how effective it would be I made a next-day appointment with Pam Murphy, LAc. and after a thorough assessment and discussion we began with cupping then accupuncture. The cupping immediately began to ease the pain and discomfort I was in while the accupuncture was an incredible relief to the tension and stress I was carrying. The combination left me with a significantly larger range of motion and sustained reduced pain. It was the only thing to really provide some relief and improvement to allow myself to begin healing. I was blown away by how much progress we made in a short period of time thanks to Pam's gentle hands and kind heart. The herbs that she prescribed were both effective and gentle on my stomach. I've continued to see her as often as I can, with significant relief every time.

I’ve been seeing Dawn for years. She’s always able to get me back to feeling good. She’s also a delightful person to chat with while she’s working her magic.

Hobbled in with a lot of pain and walked out with so much less which got better over the next few days! Dawn is amazing and I love how she helps me understand what's being done! Definitely recommend to anybody who needs immediate relief and a path to getting better!!
