Great directions
Two young men stopped by and said they were from teen challenge and they were asking for donations for their cause. Then there eyes lit up when they shared there clean time with me. Having been sober for a number of yrs, it melted my heart to see such young ppl struggle with addiction. I went to my first meeting when I was 16. I didnt recover then but by my early age 20's it stuck. Well I rested on my laurels and I relaps after 20 yrs of sobriety. These boys reminded me of where I'd really like to be in my recovery and I'm not there yet. They also reminded me of where my life began so many years ago. Thank you Teen Challege for being there for these kids.
