These people are amazing!! I had an heirloom given to me by my late mother I needed to be resized for my proposal. The other shop in town, that has multiple locations I might add, quoted a month out and absolutely crushed me. I stopped in with these folks and they were able to assure me THAT DAY I'd get the ring resized by when I needed it. (about 4 day window) I was able to propose on our special day and the people in the shop didnt mind I cried my eyes out upon pick up. YOU NEED TO LOOK NO FURTHER. These people will take care of you!!!!

I can’t express how delighted I am to have found Michael and his jewelry store. I purchased a few items but when it came to buying and changing out my center stone in my wedding set his experience was far beyond others. I looked around Rocklin for help and was told many times it could not be done in my custom wedding set. Well Michael did make my new solitaire diamond I purchased from him work. Happy happy happy. I won’t ever go anywhere else. Well worth the beautiful drive.

We came in looking for a gold chain for an old charm and Michael and Mary took the time to make sure we got what we wanted. They patiently worked out what we wanted / needed and made a tedious chore enjoyable with pleasant conversation. A lot of the pieces were on the showy side, but they were all very beautiful. I'd definitely recommend coming in for your jewelry needs.

There are some crafts where perfectionism is expected; neurosurgeon, hair stylist, and, yes, your custom jeweler. Michael Grant, the owner of Steve Schmier's Jewelry is absolutely a perfectionist - and a master of his craft. He's a talented, creative designer and I'd give 10 stars if I could.

I had a ring that was my mother's. My mom was my best friend and we purchased a topaz ring together on what , sadly, would become our final mother-daughter annual trip, before she died of cancer at 55. This ring was invaluable, but only in sentimental value. For years, I wanted to have it redesigned into something more 'me,' but didn't know where to start. Enter Michael from Steve Schmier's.

Michael was patient, yet immensely insightful, as we collaborated to create the most perfect-for-me, unique design. He didn't rush me along, and he even went so far as to wax-mold a starter design that we could hone. If you're looking for a masterful jeweler who will bring to life a design even better than you could envision, well, Michael is your guy!

Your new beauty doesn't sit on your finger 'just-so'? He'll resize it perfectly. Something 'off' about the placement of a diamond along the shank? He wants it to be flawlessly perfect. That's the perfectionist part of his expertise that has cemented Michael henceforth as my go-to jeweler. He better not ever retire!

I'll also add that Michael has the best staff (Mary and Susan). I've spent a good amount of time inside their store as we sized and shaped my custom piece, and I can attest to the friendly, helpful ambiance of Steve Schmier's Jewelry. Their selection will dazzle you, but their desire to find just the right piece that speaks to you, will comfort you.

I had a great experience working with Michael. He was able to do a major repair on my wedding ring, not only in a timely manner, but to a very successful result. I would recommend him for any jewelry repair. His shop has beautiful jewelry, much of it is his own designs.
