“I absolutely love this school. In my opinion, it is the best school in the area, my child is learning so much and it has been life changing for us! It is small and in a country setting, there is lots of land to run, climb and get dirty, and has lots of natural play, climbing areas with a plethora of materials ("jobs") to explore. The teachers are exceptionally qualified, and in tune with each individual child and their developmental needs. They are a true Montessori school. Every time I pick up my son he has learned so many new things. He is talking more, is happy, asks to come back, and is becoming a more independent, self sufficient, confident, well rounded child. Before attending this school we attended two other preschools (one was a co-op, and the other was a day care/ preschool). Neither of those programs were remotely as high of caliber as The Children's House. This school has really become a blessing for us as it provides an incredible amount of enrichment and exploration with individual attention and higher standards for our child. My only regret is not starting with children's house sooner!”

“My wife and I would highly recommend Le Petit Cocoon Childcare for anyone who is looking for a daycare. We have struggled to find a daycare we felt comfortable sending our son, but we have been extremely happy since we have started him at Le Petit Cocoon. Our son hated going to previous daycares and would often break down crying when he had to go to them. However, with Le Petit Cocoon he loves going there and we often have trouble getting him to want to come home in the evenings. Our son has had weight issues throughout his life and at previous daycares would not eat well. But at Le Petit Cocoon he is eating well and gaining weight quickly. In the past when we were concerned about something at the daycare our providers would get defensive when we tried to share our concerns. Le Petit Cocoon's provider, Mylene, is wonderful. She communicates well (giving us daily updates on how our son ate, slept and behaved), is willing to listen to any concerns we have and adjust her practices to make us feel comfortable. We like her schedule and the activities she does with the kids, especially having no TV in her daycare. As parents it is such a relief that we can trust that our son is being taken care of well and know he is at a place that he enjoys. We would highly recommend Le Petit Cocoon Childcare to anyone looking for a daycare for their children.”

They do more than just watch the kids, the teachers come up with curriculum, help each child hit developmental milestones, and play along with the monthly themes to help them learn. Miss Roslyn and Miss Holly have been instrumental in our daughters development within her first year of life. They go above and beyond to help her grow, explore new things, and make sure she stays with her eating/sleeping schedule.
