Senior Oasis

From the moment we walked into Sr. Oasis, it felt like "home". It's beautiful, immaculate and radiates warmth. After meeting Gabriella and Daniel, we felt an immediate connection. What impressed me right away was when they shared that this was their dream to have a home-like facility that offered a harmonious, loving and cheerful atmosphere. A place where residents could live with dignity and be secure in knowing they we in loving and well-qualified hands.
My Mom was treated like a queen during her stay! She was always well groomed and she loved her care givers Dena and Joe who were always so patient and cheerful and made her feel so special.
Dena is also a wonderful cook and Daniel is very proud of his incredible garden which supplies endless vegetables and fruits! Whenever we would visit we were always greeted with the smell of fresh soup and other amazing dishes. Gabriella was always creating special fun occasions like her pizza & hot fudge sundae parties and I loved the fact that everyone ate all their meals together and had that special interaction.
Gabriella was always doing thoughtful things. Mom always had fresh flowers and a supply of her favorite candy and Daniel was +always so patient and willing to arrange and rearrange her room to make it just right for her and make her feel at home.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience at Sr. Oasis! I always felt that Mom was in the best possible place and that they were equipped to handle any situation. We formed a lasting friendship and loving bond with each of them. They truly are our extended family and I can only hope that if I ever need such a place, that there will be a room available!

In one night, I became successor trustee and power of attorney for my uncle and the hospital told me I had 24-48 hours at most to find a facility for him to be discharged to. They had offered me the services of a placement agency, but unfortunately none of the places that I saw seemed to fit what I was looking for. I had asked the placement agent if Senior Oasis was an option , as I had found them since I live the neighborhood and had great reviews (so good I thought they were fake!), and they said they’d look into it.

Because Time was not on my side, I decided to call Senior Oasis myself, 30 minutes before their posted business closing hours. Daniel suggested that I come within 15 minutes so I could see their home. This impressed me because it showed me he wanted me to see the house as they were operating, not being staged for visitors. I agreed and immediately headed over to Senior Oasis.

From this point on, Gabriela, Daniel and the rest of the care team were our guardian angels. While I had visited other board and care facilities, Senior Oasis was the first place that actually ASKED ME about my uncle’s health conditions, his personality, what level of care he may need, etc. This did not go over my head. It felt as if companies had saw us as dollar signs and Senior Oasis were the only ones who saw us as people. They didnt just tell me about themselves, they truly asked questions to figure out if they would be the right people for my uncle. Within a day, my uncle as at Senior Oasis and the amount of peace of mind the team provided cannot be understated. (Btw, the agency never called them and told me that Senior Oasis had no vacancy. Wow)

I visited my uncle multiple times a week while he was a resident. The house is beautiful, clean, and brand new. Every time I came over, the care team was super cheery and welcomed me “home.” I can honestly say that it felt as if my uncle was surrounded by love there. He was eventually placed on hospice and ultimately passed a month after coming to Senior Oasis. I cannot thank Gabriela and the team for their empathy, care, and constant communication during this time. Losing my uncle has been so difficult, but having the support of Senior Oasis truly helped with that transition. If anybody else is in a position like mine, I pray that youre able to find yourselves a Senior Oasis like I was lucky enough to do. God bless you Gabriela, Daniel and team.

My mother posted this a few months ago on our family's behalf, but it isn't showing up anymore for an unknown reason, thus I'm posting it on my account:

Our family was distraught and overwhelmed with the sudden need for a home where our family member could receive hospice care and we were blessed to find Senior Oasis.

We can't thank Gabriela and Daniel enough for the loving care they provided for our family member. We were so touched by their patience, tenderness, and careful attention to every detail. Not only did they care for our loved one but they offered emotional support and genuine compassion to every family member who came to visit. What a consolation to know that our loved one was in such capable, mindful, and caring hands! Gabriela and Daniel advocated for us with the hospice company as well. They couldn't have done more if our loved one was a member of their own family!

It should also be mentioned that the house and yard were the most beautiful and clean of the homes that we visited. The yard which could be viewed from the room's sliding door was so lovely that it offered a sense of peace and calm that eased the soul.

It is without hesitation that we rate this home at the highest mark and would absolutely seek this home and Gabriela and Daniel again should the need ever arise.

My name is Eddy and I had my mother in respite care at Senior Oasis Assisted Living. This is truly an amazing home and provides a really good personalized care. We definitely going to recommend this home to our friends and neighbors.

Senior Oasis is a place I would recommend to all of your loved ones, our family needed respite care for my grandmother and Gabriela and Daniel the administrator were very accommodating, friendly, kind, caring, attentive.

The facility is beautiful, clean and gives a feeling of a 5 star stay. The caregivers are gentle and attentive and met all of our grandmother’s needs, the food was great and lots of snack choices.

The experience was perfect and I will use them and recommend them to everyone that needs a happy, safe, and clean place, a home away from home, thank you so much for caring for our grandmother with so much love💕
