Older RV Park, well maintained and friendly staff.
Passport America accepted for 10 days. A good value for 30AMP Full Hookups. There are many permanent residents here, some units aren't in good shape, but my stay was pleasant, pretty quiet and all that I expected.
My review is solely based off of a phone conversation I had. I never stayed here, or know anyone who has. I called Glen Ivy a few months ago to enquirer about possibly renting a space for my elderly mom to have her move close to me. Since I live at Sycamore Creek, this place is just minutes from my home. The lady I spoke with was so sweet and helpful. I had a lot of questions, and what may have been annoying to some, she didn’t seem annoyed with me at all, which I sincerely appreciate. The application process and requirements did seem a bit more entailed than I had thought it may be, but when she explained to me how it helps keep the park residents safe and deters any unwanted types. Not only does that make perfect sense, but really eased my mind. I know this park requirements are a bit lengthy and time consuming, but honestly whether you’re spending just a few days or years, don’t you want people to be carefully selected and to weed out the ones that may be sketchy? Of course! This place is definitely at the top of my list for potential places for my precious momma. Kudos Glen Ivy management team! Job well done!
Overall it's a good place to stay with your RV. Keep in mind this is largely a residential RV park, probably 90+% are long term residents. There's a sign at the entrance that says "495.00 a month", so that should clue you in. Likewise, most of the residents here look like something out of the rural parts of Arkansas. But to their credit, the staff here are very friendly and accommodating. It's mostly quiet despite a fair number of kids living here. The park looks like a campground with it's groves of oak trees and views of the Santa Ana Mountains. You'll only find 30amp electric here, but otherwise full hookups. The spaces are not level, you will have to do some leveling work, and the roads here are narrow, and every space is a back-in. I had a hell of a time trying to back in my toy hauler. The park requires everyone to provide proof of insurance and registration on your RV and vehicles, along with vaccination records of your pets. They are very anal about it. On the other hand, this is also a Passport America park and they happily offer you the discount with no nasty looks. Overall, we were happy with our stay here, it's cheap with the Passport America rate, but the difficulty in backing in a 33 foot trailer makes me balk at coming here again.

Glen Ivy RV Park has also hired a few new staff members, which I hope helps with fix the current clerical errors. I spoke with a gentleman who has lived here for over 5 years! He had 10 shares in the park, and is selling them all (we bought 2 of them).
