Great beer and food! Haven't had a bad beer. The cauliflower were fantastic as was the Beyond burger and Buffalo chicken sandwich and terrific fries!
Idyllwild is absolutely a hidden gem. There are so many excellent restaurants to choose from, but this review is about the "DOG" friendly Brew Pub. Order a couple flights of beer and enjoy exploring craft beers. My personal favorite is the tart cherry although it's not brewed on sight like their others. Food and service are excellent. Please visit and leave a comment about your personal experience and Don't leave your fur baby at home. Get out of the heat and enjoy driving up the scenic Hwy 243 (Remember to use the turn outs if you have even one car behind you). Land in a town surrounded by pine trees and full of family fun.
From the moment I arrived to this pub I was impacted the view on the nature is unbelievable I feel so welcoming by the staff and team the service is so good we didn’t wait a minute the food was so delicious 🤤 salmon ,fish ,salad , burgers also they have 🌱 vegan options and the drinks are 💥 bomb beers 🍻,wine selection 🍷 amazing and totally pet friendly
I highly recommend this PuB
I don't have anything too negative to say but probably a 4 for me for the price range. Service was pleasant and quick. I would say the salmon and salad was over dressed. The fish and chips were tasty and the batter had a slight bitter note, from the IPA batter I assume. There are nice views depending on where you sit. I can recommend the beignets which have a crispy, crystallized exterior.
What caps a day of wedding venue tours? Of course brews and grub. Have to say I had not heard of Idyllwild Brewpub or their beers. What a pleasant surprise. I went the cider route so I cannot rate the brews. When I return definitely Ol 45 Nitro Stout will be my choice. The location is great, ample, and clean. The staff friendly and attentive. The Cobb salad is not your traditional mixture. Definitely good with the green goddess dressing. The pretzel with mustard is a delight and would pair with a lager perfectly. The Fish and Chips are light not greasy and have the right crunch to the batter. I would pair with an amber or just go all in with a stout. Overall a great place to purposely seek out next time you visit Idyllwild.
