I saw them doing a catering at the Mason Jar. I was hesitant at first being from the south. I decided to give them a chance with the fried catfish (very hard) collard greens, red beans and rice, and peach cobbler. I am in no way disappointed. From first bite I am taken back to my childhood, a flood of emotions and memories plunging me into a sea of flavors. These people are the real deal, I will definitely track them down to show people what I grew up eating.
I grew up with southern cuisine prepared by my & my friends’ elders. My connection to “Grammys Touch of Soul” reconnects my youth to the present. I highly recommend and fully support this business!!! Schedule “genuine” soul food from here on some type of frequency … today 🔥🔥🔥
So I found Grammy's on a google search for restaurants near Menifee. Can I just say...WOW. They had an outdoor kitchen set up at the Mason Jar Brewing in Menifee. The food was AMAZING!!! The Brisket was so tender, juicy and flavorful...melt in your mouth good, the Mac and Cheese was fabulous, the Potato salad delicious and the corn bread muffins were awesome. Safe to say, probably the best brisket I have ever had. Great food for sure. Thanks.
Bottom line, the food is to die for! Meat falls right off of the ribs, the brisket is juicy and I cannot get enough of Granny's side dishes!!! And, that peach cobbler dessert is worth every bite, no regrets! Yummm---yyyyy!!!!!
Got myself the fried chicken with greens and Mac n cheese. The chicken had so much flavor in the breading and the meat was very juicy. Mac n cheese was also flavorful cheesy and HOT. The greens, well, what can I say? Probably the freshest and best tasting mixed greens i ever had. Also came with a corn bread muffin with a little bit of corn kernels mixed into the batter, was very soft and moist and just tied it all together. Don’t get me started on the yams… FIRE!!! The fall of the bone pork ribs?! OMG!!! The dang potato salad?! It’s like eating a bowl of doubled eggs and potatoes!!!! So Scrumdiddlyumptious!!!!! If I could give 10 stars I’d give 20 stars! If y’all haven’t tried the food, YOUR’E MISSING OUT!!
