“We purchased two 12x6 steel soccer goals a year ago, and they've held up very well. We took the goals down for the winter, but otherwise they stay outside 24/7. A few days ago, we had a 150 lb. deer run through a net, drag the goal 50' across our yard, slammed the goal against and across a steel trailer and then into a tree. The net was destroyed, but the goal survived with very little damage. I'm genuinely surprised at how sturdy these goals are.”

“Really awesome gym. While the bouldering area might be smaller than expected the main attraction is the top rope and lead walls. The gym is secluded from the climbing area which makes focusing a lot easier when meditating or doing yoga. I try to make it a point to come to this gym at least once a month for a full refresh. Because most of the bouldering is overhang it really challenges me to step outside my comfort zone and the cave area always has something that is at my level or just above to keep me engaged without feeling impossible.”

“I had a question about getting my Private Pilot Glider add-on rating. I haven't flown for 3 years so do not have a current BFR. Some clubs are insisting that I had to have a current BFR before I could solo or get the add-on. According to the Riverside office this is not a FAR requirement. The proper endorsement in my logbook by a qualified CFIG would allow me to solo, and the check ride for my rating would qualify as a BFR. The staff was very helpful and we discussed many related topics. Big thumbs up.”
