So you SEPARATE THEM first which 99 cent store has most of what you need and use. Next check DISTANCE and LOCATION it makes no sense to shop there if it is close to you if you spend 10-15 minutes looking for a parking space you have wasted all the money you saved on gas driving around looking for a parking space. Quality is the same REGARDLESS of which 99 cent store you CHOOSE. Variety is the KEY FACTOR so LOOK and notice how big the SELECTION is of the items you buy MOST OFTEN. PRICE IS A SUPER BIG REASON also because as we have learned not all ITEMS are 99 cents anymore REGARDLESS of the name of the store. Now SERVICE is IMPORTANT can you special ORDER an item that you know they sell but you need a large quantity for a function. Well I am very happy to say the Original 98 Cents Store meets all the above standards it is close and the parking is very good and the selection is varied enough to provide you with what you are in need of or just looking. The PERSONAL ONE ON ONE SERVICE I have received for YEARS from the Original 99 Cent Store has been wonderful. Do not get me WRONG I still shop at other 99 cent stores if I need something and one us right THERE I will walk in a buy it.
