  This meditation center is located in a very quiet place along the mountain side in Riverside. I have had many beautiful and spiritual experiences with this meditation center, called Thích Ca Thien Vien or Sakyamuni Buddhist Meditation Center.
  The nun and monks are very friendly, who hearfully try to help yogis in learning and practicing their Vipassana meditation. Venerable Kim Triệu is very respected monk, who is the founder of this meditation center. Venerable Kim Triệu is now 94 years old, but still giving lectures. He has travelled to many states, and around the world helping yogis to practice Vipassana meditation.
  Each season (Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter) the center offers a meditation class, which will be for 10 days. Quarters and foods are provided free to yogis. Yogis just donate as they wish.
  Perhaps, you can try for a short weekend and enjoy the quiet moments away from everyday busy life. You will find relaxation and stress relief along your meditation practice.
