Teachers and staff were all amazing at their job. Students here feel like they are part of a second family. Reviews about teachers being rude or downright “abusive” towards students are not so accurate. As a student who has been here since Preschool till 8th Grade, from my experience, most teachers will be strict. They will not hurt you, it’s how teaching is. Learning might seem hard but it is how we develop as a person in the future. Many people will be hard on you, you just have to deal with it. Saint Hyacinth has taught me a lot about my faith, and how to achieve my goals in the future. My thanks will always go to the teachers and principle who have shaped me to become the best person I can be. Will always look back on the memories made here. I hope SHA will still thrive in the future. -Allyson :)

My kids have been attending SHA since preschool, my oldest will be graduating this year from 8th grade. We’ve had an amazing experience the teachers go above and beyond for each student and they always keep great communication with the parents. I’m an ultimately believer that the best investment that a parent can do is your child’s education. Thank you St Hyacinth Academy!

I'm not really sure why this school has any negative reviews. I've had my son attend from preschool to 2nd grade and I've never had any concerns with the teachers and other staff. My son was extremely shy at the beginning but continues to grow academically and socially every year. I think most of this is due to the positive environment and experiences he's had with all his teachers. There's a strong sense of community, which I believe contributes to the students' success. I'm already planning on having my 2nd child attend preschool next year.

I have three children attending this excellent school they have attended from pre-k to currently my oldest is in 4th grade we have been here for some time now, I have never had any issues with the staff and faculty my kids really enjoy attending. Each year the school finishishes top two in academic triathlon competitions. The school promotes close community and good morals. I am puzzled by the negative comments completely disagree (smh). Go St. Hyacinth! 👍👍

I truly don’t believe the reviews about the teachers “hurting” kids or talking about abortion to a 5 or 6 year old. Why would the commenter leave their kids for 3 years after that? Doesn’t make any sense. I went there and my 3 kids are currently attending. The school is like a second family. There has always been open communication with the teachers and principal. There are teachers willing to stay after school or be there before school if your student needs extra help. My son tried 5th grade in public school and is now returning to St.Hyacinth as a 6th grader. Let me tell you- there is a big difference. He barely had any homework and only had test in math and English, kids were rowdy...Bottom line is that in all the years my family has attended, we have never had any issues. It’s not perfect but I can honestly say I’ve seen respectful children and teachers that WANT to be there.
