Such a beautiful relaxing environment. It's clean, lots of life, the path is nice, as well as the statues and history. There are also benches for you to sit. What's there not to love about this place?
I thought this was going to be a lousy little park but it turned out to be a really, REALLY cute pond with a bunch of different types of ducks! I didn’t expect for there to be that many! The walkway was surprisingly clean for how many critters roam that small area and the memorials along the way were beautifully done. It was a highlight of my trip to the region.
The pond was a beautiful, clean and relaxing outing. It is a small pond with various duck breeds, some of which I have never seen before. There is a fountain in the middle of the pond. There are strict signs not to feed the ducks, however there were children and adults of all ages who played with the ducks and were able to interact with them. Surrounding the pond there are also memorials for fallen US military heroes. I strolled around the pond for about 15 minutes and then sat on a bench to read a book.
The Duck Park is so calm and relaxing. It's an easy walk to go around the lake, too. I really enjoy coming here.
I love Temecula Duck Pond, I like to bring people Who visit me from out of town, so they can enjoy it as much as I do.
I love taking my walks around the pond, I enjoy looking at all the ducks and turtles that live ther.
There is also a memorial for all the soldier's that have fought and lost their or lives or missing in combat. Very beautiful!
There is also a dedication to our sister city in Japan.
If you get hungry while visiting the Duck Pond, there is a greatly good restaurant just a few feet away, called Oscar's Brewing Company. The food is very delicious.
During Christmas holiday season they also decorate a huge pine tree with Christmas Lights and a large star on top, a nativity scene, and a menorah on both sides of the tree.
Which is set in the southwest corner of the Duck Pond, it can be seen on the corner of Rancho California Rd and Ynez Rd. At night they are lit up, and it looks beautiful! It's a great place to visit either alone or with the family.
