I love it when you're visiting a restaurant for the first time and your experience is as awesome as you were hoping it would be! That being said,
We ordered the Hatch Valley Burger, the Backyard BBQ Burger & I had the pulled pork Fries which also had the New Mexico Hatch Green Chili in it.
My family are all born and raised in Albuquerque NM and eating the Hatch Valley Burger was like eating a Burger from home!! We loved this dish! It was so on point with the flavors!! We also ordered a few of their beers but I couldn't tell you their names because it was my husband and daughter who actually drank them. Lol. Anyways the food was phonomonal!! The service was awesome too!!
The staff were all welcoming and friendly. We had a great experience at the Hive Grill and we will definitely be returning!
(May 3, 2019, 1:47 pm)It's an unassuming place in the form of a local bar but the food is kicked up a notch to a higher standard. We got the tri tip and the burger and it was both cooked to our order and delicious.. don't worry about anyone overcooking your meat here.. I ordered a medium rare and got exactly what I asked for.
(April 16, 2019, 6:48 pm)Great atmosphere, friendly staff, great food. Moderately priced with huge portions. When you factor in the the serving size it is a bargain.
Best fish and chips I have had in a long time but you might want to share it with someone because it could easily feed two big eaters. I highly recommend this place.
EDIT:. Been back several times now and have not been disappointed yet. I'm kind of stuck on the fish and chips but my wife branches out and I get to try hers. The Cauliflower appetizer is excellent! For a real treat try the chocolate chips cookie with ice cream - one of the most decadent things I have ever eaten. It takes about 30 minutes to bake so order it when your meal is served. Definitely something to share - huge portion for two, just right for four.
(March 16, 2019, 9:03 pm)You absolutely won't find a fish n chips meal to beat the one offered here! I keep saying next time I will get something else but... You'll wake up thinking about this place when you want fish n chips.
Good variety on menu and bar items . Grub for the younger ones too.
You won't be disappointed...the crew here will take good care of you!
(February 22, 2019, 10:02 pm)I had a very good experience here. The food was fantastic. I ordered the fish fry and it was like heaven. Also, the service was on target. The only.reason why I give it four stars, is because they forgot my kids food. Otherwise, all around great place to go and totally kid friendly!!
