Through having 3 reiki sessions with her I was able to avoid 6 weeks of physical therapy on my hip after the delivery of my fourth baby. My son has also had several sessions and is thriving with his kidney issue. We highly recommend her services. The price is so affordable as well. “Great school with a very active PTA and activities for the children and families, including a fall festival and Hot Chocolate with Santa during the holidays. Kindergarten classes are half days with students attending either morning or afternoon sessions. For the rest of the students, Mondays are normally short days with dismissal just after 1pm with a 2:45pm dismissal the rest of the days. Teachers are very friendly, and we had great experiences with all the teachers that taught our children. The emphasis on building good character qualities in addition to the academics is wonderful. Only reason I rated the school 4 stars is that the parking lot is on the smaller side (but there are plenty of cross guards and parking monitors to ensure people transit safely during the busiest times of the day) and that I wished kindergarten was a full day lime what my family experienced overseas instead of just a half day. Still I highly recommend this school.”

“Sonia Ortiz & Ohana Childcare is simply ...awesome! Mrs. Sonia and her staff are very well organized, attentive to each child’s needs, compassionate, and fun. They keep the home clean, safe and take the time at drop-off/ pick-up to discuss any concerns or needs you may have as well as give you a summary of the day. Our daughter (now 3 y.o.) started while potty training and Sonia was very patient and helpful throughout the whole process. As you can imagine, continuity from home to ‘school’ was critical! Mission accomplished! Ohana puts a lot of effort into creating activities that are enriching and stimulating! They regularly sing songs, complete projects, learn shapes and letters including ASL (sign language) and spanish vocabulary. It’s really cool to see how much our daughter has picked up! They also play outback on the play set, bikes, power cars and take excursions to Mapleton Park. The kids also have dance parties, movie ‘nights’ and gameplay. Our daughter, along with many of the littles, still nap daily. This is important to us and our child’s overall wellbeing. Overall, we are impressed with Sonia’s loving care for each child, overall setup and tremendous energy level! Sonia is flexible, so if you have a specific request or need, just ask.”
