  Delicious hand made pizza, great crust and sauce. Definitely recommend the Matteo for the carnivores. Polenta fries are crispy and perfect on the inside. Always great service for takeout.

  My next door neighbor owns it. Also it is a fabulous place, outdoor eating seems intimate and is in a beautiful quite setting.
  Matt is a chef of chefs and his wife, Yvette is the hostess of the mostest. The food is worth dying for too.

  This location was formerly a Steve's Pizza. It has completely metamorphosed into a respectable location for a nice meal, rather than a day care that serves pizza. I was very pleased to see a much more mature aesthetic in place,with mixed media like wood, glass, and steel being used to accentuate what was formerly a location filled with 30-year old carpet and matching wood siding. The wine menu is definitely one of the best in Sacramento, and I was very impressed with the menu offerings themselves. A perfect balance was struck between quality ingredients and cost. Truffle and Asiago fries for $7? Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. The wait staff were very friendly and appropriately dressed for such a venue as well. I will definitely be going back.

  Good place to gather with friends at lunch. Today was kind of quiet maybe due to rainstorm. I had a yummy Asian noodle salad and a bowl of very good chicken tortilla soup, hubby had a tasty vegan Southwest burger. Shared a fresh cone basket of sweet potato fries and lingered over jasmine tea while it poured outside. Service a tad leisurely but still a reliable place to dine.
