Cello and Singing Lessons

JoAnn is such an amazing person and cello teacher! I'm 21 and have never played an instrument before but it's been my dream to learn to play cello. She is incredibly knowledgeable and extremely caring. She will never make you feel bad for making a mistake. You can tell how passionate she it and it makes learning 10x more fun! I would highly recommend her for anyone at any skill level. Even if you are like me and have 0 musical knowledge!

JoAnn is an excellent voice teacher. My daughter enjoys her lessons and has progressed steadily. She is much more confident during her musical theater auditions due to JoAnn's patient tutelage.

I took cello lessons from JoAnn for two years and absolutely loved it. Cello was an instrument I always wanted to learn, and by my early 30s I finally had the time and money to do so. JoAnn patiently and understandingly instructed me on a weekly basis, with a flexible schedule to adapt to my challenges with work or home. Good days she would push and challenge me to new heights of knowledge and technique, and when too many other things were weighing on me, she would adapt so that no matter how busy the rest of life was, our lesson was still very encouraging.

I had to stop lessons due to a job change, but if I could I would still be taking them. JoAnn is a very good teacher, especially if you are a busy professional. Finally, if unsure of the best lesson duration, I recommend at least 45-60 minute lessons.

I have been studying singing with JoAnn for about two years now. I began as an absolute beginner. I have made steady progress and have gained a lot of confidence.

JoAnn is an excellent teacher. She loves her subject; she is committed to advancing her students' skills; and, she is sensitive to their individual needs.
