Arthur Murray Carmichael

I have been dancing at the Arthur Murray Carmichael studio for over 16 years. It has been my place of peace and stress relief. I am so very thankful for the friendships I’ve formed and all of the wonderful people (students, staff and coaches) I’ve met during this journey. I have had the best instructor Pedro, teaching me how to get out of my own head and embrace my talents and he lets me speak my mind. I’ve also had the opportunity to go on vacations with some really amazing people and step out of my comfort zone to experience new things.

I’ve always loved music and dance and was so afraid to put myself out on display. From the day of my very 1st lesson, I have felt at home. Pedro and Jamila have creates such a great family environment to have fun and dance your heart out. I’m so very thankful that even with the pandemic, they were able to still keep people dancing at home via zoom or with no touch lessons.

Dancing is a great way to give your mind a rest and just have fun. It’s great exercise and your having so much fun doing it, that you forget that it’s a kind of workout. With mental health being such a huge part of our world today and people needing to find outlets to channel their fears, doubts and worries into something positive, why not do something for yourself and take a dance lesson and have some fun! You may end up enjoying yourself too and keep coming back for more fun and socializing with a great group of people in a safe judgement free zone.

The Arthur Murray Carmichael Dance Center is a friendly, enjoyable place to learn to dance or improve your dance moves. From the Franchise owners, Pedro and Jamila, to the whole staff, they make lessons, group lessons and parties stress free and fun! Dancing for me has always been a challenge, but the instructors are patient and encouraging. It’s not just about dancing, but socializing and having fun.

I now look forward to any opportunity to grab my wife, Diane, and lead her on the dance floor. Whether it’s at the Dance Center, at an event, a romantic dinner out or in our dining room at home, I feel more confident as a dancer thanks to Arthur Murray Carmichael Dance Center and instructors.

I enjoy dancing and always have. I know it comes deep within my genealogy and I just needed it to be brought out a little more. I thank Arthur Murray Carmichael & team for that. They do a great job! The Arthur Murray Carmichael Dance Center is such a friendly, enjoyable place for me to go to. AWESOME! One day, five months ago, I walked through the doors at Arthur Murray, Carmichael and simply said "I want to learn to dance".
I took my first lesson that day and have since made the studio my second home. The staff and students are like family and I look forward to each and every visit. Dance has become an addiction that I hope stays with me for years to come. Thank you Arthur Murray Carmichael for being such a warm, family-friendly place to have fun and unwind after a long day at the office.
