“My mom is here in independent living. She has been for almost 10 years and she will be 100 this year. This is a “Cadillac” facility. She loves it. The staff is top notch and the facilities excellent. Cost is not for the faint of heart. For most there is a pricey buy-in that is based on the size of unit but what is hard is the 3-5% annual escalator on your monthly “room and board” fees that also vary with the size of your unit. So you need to prepared for that. In 9 years the monthly fee has increased over 1400/month, from around 4800 a month to 6200/month for a 1300 sq ft unit, well in excess of inflation so if you are on a small fixed income this place will not work for you. If cost is not a concern, then go for it. I understand there is a lengthy waiting list for Two bedroom units.”

“The address on Google needs to be updated, Livity is currently located in El Dorado Hills. Check their website for more accurate information. I did individual and group DBT therapy here. I've gone through many different types of therapy and therapists as a result of moving and insurance issues but the treatment I received here was most effective. I highly recommend Livity to people struggling with this BPD as it helps more than traditional therapy. Group therapy is not for everyone but I had a positive experience in my time here, mostly thanks to the efforts of Erin and Mark.”
