I'll start off by saying I am a big fan of California Burrito, and have been to a whole array of either sit down or fast food mexican restaurants. I was very impressed by Beto's Tacos. Their Carne Asada fries were amazing and superior to that of any other place I've tried so far. Their tortas are also very good and one of the best. I fully plan on trying much more of their menu in the future. So far with what I have experienced, I would say this is better than california burrito
These were some very fresh tacos! We loved the hot crispy shells and simple fresh ingredients. The mild salsa was wonderful and my shredded beef was perfect with it (although it would have been bland without, so don't skip the salsa). The cheese enchilada was actually my favorite, greasy and delicious. I liked the subtle spicing of the beans and rice as well.
A few caveats to be aware of: It was drive-through only, not sure if just that day or if that is usual. Prices on the order board are no longer valid, but you don't find that out until you get to the window. And the afternoon we visited, the process from order to food took about half an hour. I don't know if that is typical, and there was something strange happening with car in front of us, but it felt like quite a long time even after we made it to the window and were the only ones there.
The food was great. You might want to plan extra time.
