Great place great owner enjoy spending time there

Today was our first day visiting Jbs ranch let’s just say we had a blast. Jerry & his partner Jayden (I think that was his name) we’re very helpful and patient. I felt like it was my grandparents house just very warm & welcoming. They have horses, ponies, goats, chickens and some farm dogs which were all friendly.

The owner was a bit rough towards my friend and I. We had no prior experience with horses and instead of calmly explaining the whole works, he was cranky and kinda rude. My friend thinks it’s maybe because we were late ( we kept the owner posted every 30 minutes of the traffic). Nonetheless, our guide was very accommodating and gentle and we enjoyed the ride.

Twenty-some horses, multiple breeds, well cared for, managed by a real wrangler who reads and accommodates what the customer can handle.

My partner was having a difficult day so Jerry told us stories as we circled his property rather than take one of the three trails he normally takes clients on with his horses. He encouraged my partner, a lifelong horse owner and rider, to return and honor her passion by riding more regularly there. My partner wants to do that. Her issue is that she was uncomfortable riding about a mile beside a road to get on the trail since she was on a horse that was hit by a car early in her youth.

It's hard to tell her to get back on the horse. Similarly, anyone wanting to ride here should be prepared to ride where there will be some vehicle traffic.

JB Ranch has very well behaved horses & ponies. I took my daughter here for her first ride and everything went very smooth. JB was very nice and knowledgeable. I'll definitely be going to this ranch again soon!
