Great place to walk around with the dog while my son goes fishing off the dock.
This place has some lunker bass. Its also stocked by dept. Fish and game
Its bigger and deeper than you would think when I googled it. Nice location and clean. Good for a walk, a picnic, and fishing.
Willow Hill Reservoir Community Park is a small, suburban wildlife park with picnic tables, a floating fishing platform, a parcourse, a small children's playground, and a trail (partly paved; mostly gravel) that rings the reservoir. It also has restrooms, but they are often locked. This park is contiguous with Folsom High School, which is at Prairie City Road and Iron Point Road. Easiest access to the park is from Barnhill Drive, the first right after Folsom High. A free parking lot is across the street from the park. The high school's track team often practices at the park.
Very beautiful to walk around at least once a week! I do live pretty close to this park, so walking in the neighborhood every day has been my only form of exercise during this pandemic. I personally do not feel comfortable using a public fitness center until after the pandemic is over.
