(July 5, 2021, 4:12 pm)Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful sanctuary. Great number of animals in large cages. Fun to watch the bear eat the eggs off the rocks and chomp through an artichoke. There are loud peacocks and quiet deer wondering around. And they recently added a barn which is a good addition. We saw a group of kids there doing crafts and were off to clean a cage and learn about caring for the animals, so that is something they offer.

(June 27, 2021, 10:52 pm)For such a small location, there is a lot at this zoo. I almost like the atmosphere better than the Sacramento Zoo. My wife and I bought a membership for our whole family so we can go whenever we want; well worth it
