We have been to multiple dentists and I have probably called most of the offices in the area trying to find a dental team that can understand our needs and how his dental issues are complex in nature including more than just a "healthy mouth." From start to finish we received the best all round care. I first must thank Lilly at the front desk for understanding the nature of our problem and directing us appropriately through a dental emergency on a Friday. They had us in by Monday morning and Dr. Ogen made sure our treatment plan included a thorough interview with the caregiver to get a comprehensive understanding of the patient's needs. We were not rushed, we did not have to share our time with 3 other patients. She gave us the time we needed and demonstrated compassion and understanding that I had yet to see in this profession. As a new patient we were not told "the dentist is booking out through end of June." We have been given a referral to a surgeon in the area, antibiotics and a patient and family agreed upon plan moving forward. I couldn't be more relieved! I plan on moving the whole family to Lakeside dental and will highly recommend them to anyone looking (especially those that care for Alzheimers or dementia family members.”
