“Norman Hamlin Park is known by the OG’s of Orangevale as Snipes Park. Is a very cute and quiet park. It has a couple of swings, jungle gym , a few benches, a water fountain for people and one for the dogs and a book exchange box. At the back of the park is a trail that takes you down the the river.”

“I rented facilities from OV Parks and Rec and they had amazing customer service! They always answered the phone when I called, made any changes to my reservation, and assisted me with any problems or concerns I had. They are amazing and I would highly recommend working with them!”

Almond Avenue Park

Address: 5901 Almond Ave, Orangevale, CA 95662, USA

Park

“This park is one of my favorites, plenty of parking, benches, shade, and room for whatever activities you can think of. There are two separate play structures, one for smaller children/toddlers with a thick rubber ground cover and a shade structure with picnic tables. The other play structure is more for elementary to middle school aged children with a decent sized area and connected structures for the kids to play on however it does accommodate toddlers with the normal toddler swings as well as 4 normal sized swings with wood chips as a ground barrier There is a large open grassy area wrapped by a concrete sidewalk with plenty of trees to provide shade in one area and benches to stop and rest or just enjoy the open feeling. the pathway passes both play structures great for doing laps with bikes, dogs, jogging, circuits, etc... Overall a great place to take the kids, create a workout routine, or just relax and read a book.”
