The Gate Restaurant

My party of 5 showed up for breakfast. At first there was no one to receive us or to seat us. I asked the hotel staff at the lobby if there was someone to help seat us. She graciously sat us and I assured we would be taken care of. 👍🏽🤙🏽Great service and and good food. I shall return

Since Chef Scott Savage took over at the Gate, the food has improved immensely. Once a typical place to stop and have a basic meal, he's elevated the menu to a true experience and a place to go, rather than just a place to be. The menu is great and more "food experiences" are coming. So, come out Jackson Highway and into the foothills for wine tasting, but make reservations for breakfast on your way, or lunch/dinner on your return at The Gate restaurant. Both inside and outside dining too! Enjoy!

Great food and good service. I had dinner twice and breakfast once and was pleased each time. I particularly enjoyed the cranberry apple bread pudding which was topped with a delectable sauce. My only complaint was the live music present at one of the dinners. The space in the restaurant did not allow for adequate sound dissemination and the music was loud enough to significantly hamper conversation around the table.

Missing some of the usual local favorite dishes, as they continue to change the menu. But continue to receive great service, nice local wine selection and a well rounded menu.
