Dr. Rubin is the best! He is extremely knowledgeable and kind and fantastic with kids. During the scariest part of 2020, my oldest broke a bone at the growth plate. He was the only ortho who was willing to do a same day review of her imaging and even called me within 5 minutes of reaching out, because saw that she needed an emergency surgery to prevent any more damage/improper healing to the growth plate and got her in right away. We were both super scared and he helped us feel at ease and updated me as soon as she was out of surgery. She was anxious about the whole process and he explained everything in detail at a level she could understand when the pin and cast were ready to be removed. He also stepped in to help when I couldn't find an ortho after breaking my wrist one Christmas Eve. and would facetime with me when I wasn't healing as fast as I should have been so I didn't have to drive out to his office. I can't recommend him enough!

Dr. Rubin was absolutely wonderful! He’s extremely knowledgeable and kind. The fact that he knows and understands athletes (being an athlete himself!) definitely made me feel like I was getting the best care possible for recovery and return to my sport. My busted elbow is good as new. Can’t recommend him enough!

Dr. Rubin is AMAZING!! He not only works quickly and efficiently but he is accessible and super knowledgeable! I am so happy I found him when I needed ACL replacement surgery. If you need a good orthopedic surgeon who will take care of you as an individual and help you meet your recovery goals he’s the one ! I couldn’t be happier with my experience here. Being a patient of Dr. Rubin, I can say that he is a very talented orthopedic surgeon. He worked very very diligently on my orthopedic surgery and provided continuous follow up and medical care during post-op. He is very personable, approachable and kind with extensive medical knowledge and background. Always displaying professional manner and transparent. Dr. Rubin has a precision on his approach during the decisions he has given for the successful outcome of my surgery. Dr. Rubin's office manager Jillian has worked with me tremendously, going above and beyond while providing continuous support and follow up on the paperwork, medical needs, appointment scheduling. I have been very pleased for the care provided by Dr. Rubin and Jillian.

Dr Rubin and his assistant Jilian are incredible. They really try to go the extra mile to alleviate pain and improve the quality of life for their patients. They work very hard and are often quite busy but I have never been treated badly or made to wait long. Dr Rubin is one of the most qualified surgeons in the area and he has several degrees on his wall to prove it. I think that Dr Rubin is one of the best orthopedic surgeons in Sacramento as he has made me feel a lot better!
