One of my favorite spots in Sacramento, love Asada súper burrito and street tacos! Great flavor, homemade food, kind service, never had a bad experience in 5 yrs so far. Also affordable prices.

Been swinging by Gordito Burrito since the mid 90s, and this location was the go to before they put one at Sac State. Nearly 30 years later, our family is back to the La Riv location regularly. The shredded beef is excellent, and definitely get your burritos deluxe! Also have a killer selection of breakfast burritos, but bring your appetite if you order The Breakfast Beast... that is a four meat monstrosity of breakfast Awesomeness. You go there for the food, not the ambiance, but you'll keep going back: especially for that garlicky salsa!!!

Excellent burrito and a very good value. Was steaming hot. The hot sauce (“hotter one” per staff) had awesome flavor with decent heat that wasn’t overpowering. One of the betters ones I’ve found in the Sac area.
