Haven for birth

Wow! I 1000% recommend Haven For Birth. Everything about this place is amazing. I used their doula services for my second birth and only wish I’d found them sooner. Having a birth doula makes a big difference!

My postpartum doula Laura was really helpful to me during my postpartum journey. I highly recommend having both a birth doula and a postpartum doula. We need so much support during and after pregnancy. They are a a nonprofit and the services are offered on a sliding scale. They also have a ton of beautiful handmade gift items for babies, kids and moms. I highly recommend their shop for baby shower or birthday gifts. They also have pamphlets and information for new moms too. Call before you go though because they aren’t always open during their posted hours.

Our experience was wonderful with our doula from Haven for Birth. She provided tremendous pre planning support and much needed encouragement and care during labor. We also attended the classes to learn how to prepare for labor and make a birth plan. As a multicultural couple we felt seen, understood, and respected. I highly recommend them for couples services, prenatal massage, chiropractic work, and all of the other services offered!

I am so thankful for Haven and the amazing women that run the place. Just to know that there was support, outside the steril hospital, was so vital to my mental health during a high-risk pregnancy.
