The Birth Center

I have had two births with Ruth at the birth center. Ruth is very knowledgeable and works great under pressure. My first birth was very difficult and Ruth and her team were so kind and encouraging! It was no question that we wanted Ruth to be there to bring our second baby into this world! And if we have any more babies we will definitely be back!!

My wife has had two births at The Birth Center and I wouldn't trust anyone else to deliver our babies. Ruth is the epitome of competent, professional care. Her background as a registered nurse - in addition to her certification/accreditation as a nurse midwife - inspires confidence which is reinforced every time we go to her with prenatal/birth/lactation questions. On top of everything else, Ruth is one of the most inexpensive birth centers in the area. If you're looking for an alternative to a hospital birth, I can't recommend The Birth Center enough.

After two hospital births, we wanted something different for the birth of our third. It was so wonderful giving birth in such a calm environment - no glaring lights or beeping machines or random people rushing in and out. Ruth is very knowledgeable and professional, and I felt very confident about my birth while in her care. If we happen to have a fourth, we will certainly be back :)

I had my four children there. Ruth and her staff were professional, kind, and caring. They listen to me and my needs. They didn't force anything on me. They know what to do. They understood what I was going through and guided me on how giving birth better.

My health and the health of the babies always came first. They never took any risk. They were here for me.

At first my husband wasn't convinced, but after giving birth the first time there and seeing how things went, he knew that we had made the right choice.
It is the best choice I ever made for me and my babies.
