The food was absolutely delicious and our waitress was both knowledgeable of the menu, but was very friendly and helpful. Sat at the bar. First time visiting this place and definitely not the last.
Binchoyaki meaning (charcoal grill) is a modern Japanese style focused on small plates. They have a skewer menu, main dish & special menu to choose from. All which is very delish! We loved all the items we ordered. A reservation is a must as there isn't a lot of tables. But there is outdoor dining. We went when the weather was blazing hot 🔥 🥵 and they did not provide air-conditioning. Therefore, it was kinda unbearable to enjoy dinner.
Binchoyaki - this was a pleasant surprise. We sampled so many combinations of meats! It was really delicious. I will say my favorites were the Belly and pork cheeks. Side note the mochi bacon was a cheesy salty combo. It was interesting on the palate
Our party shared a TanTan Tonyu Udon. The noodle were adente and the meat want sweet/spicy. The sauce brings is all together for a full experience. I recommend it and I'm not a fan cold noodles.
This place does have an automatic gratuity of 20% on your order. Just a fair warning. Our hostess and server did not tell us until the check was delivered.
Overall, it was a great experience
Get the crispy rice too!!!!!
First time at Binchoyaki. I made a reservation a few days in advance. When my party arrived, we were greeted by the host and seated within a few minutes. Our waitress provided great recommendations and was awesome overall. The only issue with the service was that it took a while before we were able to place our first order after being seated. Other than that, food and drinks came quickly, and we had a great meal. Definitely try the wagyu tsukine with an onsen egg, bacon wrapped enoki mushrooms, and chili dumplings. I'm still thinking about those dishes 🤤
Enjoyed trying a wide variety of dishes including the Loco Moco meatloaf special (which 4 of us shared, it’s very filling!) and the sweet potatoes were another yummy choice.
Suggest making reservations, we didn’t have one and only had to wait about half an hour for a table which wasn’t bad since it was a Friday evening.
Atmosphere is casual, service is friendly and helpful. The food is grilled to order so can be a little slow coming to the table, I suggest dining here when you’re not in a rush.
Your check can get kinda steep if you don’t keep an eye on what you’re ordering or if you go too hungry. We made both mistakes and a casual Friday night dinner became a of fine dining experience. The tip was automatically added to our check which surprised us a little because we were a party of 3. Not sure if that’s standard practice or not.
Will definitely be returning!
