Brioche chocolate bar- The brioche bar is extremely filling, between the brioche is filled with cream and chocolate chips with sea salt sprinkle on top. When you bite into the bar it is soft, but firm. The first thing you will taste is the cream followed by an explosion of chocolate. The sea salt acts as a nice counter balance to all the sweetness, it is like having a taste of soft pretzel. Wonderful work of art, highly recommended to try if first time coming.
Chocolate cream puff- More like chocolate cream bomb, the size of the puff will fill the palm of your hands. The puff is filled to the brim with cream where the texture is velvety with just the right amount of sweetness for me. Surrounding puff pastry is extremely soft, biting in you will feel no resistance as in biting onto air. I recommend having extra napkins at the ready because it is going to get messy.
I only bought two pastries where it comes in a nice rectangular box with the logo sticker on top. With each pastry having their own sheets for me to grab so my hands wouldn’t get messy. Shanna the owner is extremely friendly and talking to her made the entire experience memorable.
For first timers the bakery opens only on the weekend Sat-Sun at 8am-1pm. Most of the bakery is dedicated to baking boot camps for young children learning how to bake. Shanna also hosts private events at the location and creates custom cakes as well. If you are curious about certain items availability please call ahead to make sure because I know the cream puffs will be gone.
Went to this new bakery in the Pocket area this morning. It is such a cute place…made me happy just walking in! Had to buy a little bit of everything because it all looked so fun and delicious! The Monte Cristo roll was amazing. Texture and balance of flavors was soooo good, very creative…. wish we had purchased more! Also, had the Blueberry Cinnamon Roll…the texture of the roll combined with the just-right balance of blueberry cinnamon and perfect-sweetness cream cheese frosting was a yummy surprise. My husband had the cinnamon roll and was also impressed. The oatmeal cookie sandwich filled with marshmallow cream…OMG!!! (Glad we bought 2!). It is not only a place to by scrumptious treats and special-order baked goods (including cakes, cookies, cupcakes, etc.), but it is set up for private baking classes as well! Checked out the website after getting our fill and found they offer kids summer camps, scheduled baking classes and private events. Can’t wait to invite girlfriends for a private baking class! So nice to have such a unique and creative offering in Sacramento! Note check the website for hours.
THIS IS A MUST TRY. LOCAL DELICACY!
I tried multiple things here and this is hands down the best dessert place in Sacramento. This elevated what I thought of dessert. This is QUALITY you can taste. I had never thought of food as beautiful until I tried this place. SMy image of food has been changed forever. You can taste the quality, love, and beauty in every bite. I have never eaten anything better. I love this place.
I BEG YOU TO EAT HERE. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!
Also the owner Shanna (i don't know the proper spelling) is one of the nicest and kindest business owners I have ever met. Super cool and very freindly.
I will eat here until either I or the establishment are wiped from the earth. Read my name and know my entire reputation rests on this place. I would bet all of my possessions that this is the best you will ever have.
Until today, I had never walked away from eating sweets feeling good about myself
Hands down a the best treats i’ve had in Sacramento. If you can foot the cost, this place beats every other “fancy” place in the city because these treats are ACTUALLY the best. The owner is the nicest too.
