“We absolutely love Happy Gnome Daycare! We were planning on sending our infant son to a larger center in downtown, and a spot opened up just in time. The in-home environment is the perfect fit for our little one. While I was nervous about leaving my little guy for the first time to go back to work, I felt immediately at ease with Shelley. She provides a nurturing environment, personalized care, keeps us informed, and sends us sweet pictures throughout the day. Our son has the biggest smile on his face every morning when he gets dropped off. I highly recommend Happy Gnome!”

“Great GATE program. Have only had a couple of issues with other students being stupid or creating mild bullying. The band is FANTASTIC under Mr. Hammond! This is our third year there with 2 kids and have had a really great run. Lots of great parents, too!”

“Love this school”

“Went to a couple games here for kids soccer. It's close to my work and I wonder, what the heck is this nice prestigious looking school doing in a place like this. Honestly, it's in the middle of an old beat up neighborhood with homeless people walking all around. It kind of odd really. OK, the field was great. Nice grass and stands for spectators. Very nice.”

“Great school. It is a Linked Pathway Learning School so instead of being in a traditional classroom the students are encouraged to participate in labs and extracurricular activities. Overall the school environment is great and with the help of new staff HPHS is a great school. The teachers are very liked and teach off of curriculums taught at a college level. For instance in 9th grade the freshman take Anatomy and Physiology, 10th grade students take World health, 11th grade students take PreHospital Care, and I. 12th grade the students take Phycology. Hphs also has a diverse student body.”

“We bought a sectional from Sean. He was very knowledgeable and patient as we decided which couch to get ( we stayed in the store past closing) and he also cut us a very handsome deal. The furniture arrived within 3 weeks just in time for our housewarming party! The only thing we would have wanted is scotch guard to be included to protect the fabric. We are very pleased with the appearance and feel of the piece. I wish I could post pictures.”

“If you want to make something, make anything, this is the place to go. With tools and materials, staff to train you and space to work, this is one of the best places to discover how to make every project you've ever dreamed up. Free to use for all Los Rios students (including materials for prototypes!), all you need is imagination and time to invest.”
