Can be a bit crowded, but near a stream and a lot of great hiking trails, College Camp, San gorgonio wilderness, down the Santa Ana river and to seven oaks also. About 40 minutes from big bear lake.
Nice campground very beautiful! There is a quiet time between 10pm-6am so no noise host was great have no complaints i recommend to anyone looking to spend a good time in nature. Only downside is that water is very limited they provide some water you can go to the next nearest campground for water if anything but be sure to bring gallons to fill.
Clean. Nice management. Quiet. Spacey campsites. No shower but that is listed. Last time I went there was no water. You can go to the campground down the road for some.
This is a very convenient place to do your car camping
This is a really chill little campground with nice shade and easy access to the Santa Ana River Trail. It's small and the sites aren't cramped together like some of the busier grounds. It has pit toilets, but no running water. Past fires and flooding have wreaked some havoc on it, but when it's open it's a great option for tent camping in the San Bernardino National Forest.
