(March 27, 2017, 11:52 pm)It was tough finding the road from Nevada back to the National Monument. Remember to exit Nipton towards Searchlight right turn on walking box ranch rd. A dirt road.
(October 23, 2016, 3:48 am)This is a real gem, with prime Mojave nature including lush Joshua Tree forests, wide desert mountain vistas and lots of wildlife. Make sure you have a 4wd with good tires and high clearance is a big plus. It's a rough, rugged dirt path in but very remote and very rewarding.
